It is better to check this out sooner than later . My son has a bit of a “lips ” problem and was picked up when I took him to the childhood centre . Through them I took him to a 6 weeks speech therapist who checked on him and everything turned out good/no serious issues and it was all free. It doesn’t hurt to go to one now and if there are any issues it will picked up early rather than later .

To wait or not…conflicting advice, I’d probably get it checked out, just for peace of mind.

every child develops at different rates wait til he’s 4 if he is still not talking properly take him to speech pathologist then and keep in mind what the teacher said when talking to him at home, correct hi if he says something wrong or make him repeat words he is having trouble with, we id it with out daughter and she’s improving heaps

Don’t wait, the waiting line can be very long. Speech is such an important factor and even if it turns out there isn’t a problem you will come away with a beautifully spoken child. Sometimes its the little way they hold their tongues. One of my children did it because of a lazy tongue and we came away from it with a very possitive feeling.
