Hard but rewarding work looking after kids on your own.

i have so much respect for single mums because i know that it can be hard enough while having two parents.

Being a single mother is hard (as for any single mother would know. I was married and then made my husband leave me (another story)My children are now 23 & 25. I look back upon what I did for those children I did it for love. We might not have had a lot but we had our little family of love. Maybe they didn’t get designer brand clothes or shoes but they were healthy and loved. My eldest is now married and I look back and say OMG I did it and would do it all over again.
Just remember you can do it no matter how hard it gets and your true friends will be there for you always.

You sound like you are doing a great job. Money is not everything but as long as they have the love that they seem to will you that is bottom line everything. I know how hard it is to be a single Mum I had my daughter at just 17 and she is 29 now so I had to deal with what a terrible person I was and whispers but I would never have changed that time at all. I did get married to a guy I went out with when I was 14 and we stayed friends and we got back together and was married within 3 months so I did not have to do it as long as you did. It is very clear your children are your world and they would know that so again well done you sound like a great Mum

I was a single mum with 3 children in 3 & a half years at 22 years of age. It can be tough work at times but also so rewarding. I can safely say that my children didn’t go without anything, I didn’t want my children to be treated any different. I did find it hard financially at times but they are all well adjusted, happy adults now.
