Hello!

I was just reading the post about extending the shelf life of eggs. While I don’t know if it works or not, I do know how to check if an egg is fresh. To check if an egg is good to eat, place it in a bowl of water. If it sinks to the bottom and lies on its side, it’s still good. If it stands large end up, eat it very soon, if it’s a floater, make sure you chuck it!
PS. Egg whites can also be frozen!

  • Yup.. This is true.. You should really soak your eggs though unless you are going to use them straight away!
