Hello!

I am feeling very time poor at the moment, the hectic Christmas season is over I know but I didn’t manage to take time off work over the break and my house work is suffering immensely due to my exhaustion….anyway, I’ve heard a few people who have robot vacuums that absolutely love them, but can never remember which one they have.
Has anyone had positive experiences with one in the mid range price bracket vacuums? My hard wood floors are suffering terrible scratches from food crumbs getting stuck under the felt pads on the chairs and I just cannot sweep every single night!!!

  • My friend has used a couple and apparently only the most expensive ones will work well enough for you not to pick up after it.

  • We’ve tried (and failed) with a couple, for me I just can’t justify the price for the not great results

  • I remember reading about one somewhere in real stories. The mum loved hers but I think it was quite expensive.

  • My sister has one and loves it. It is more or a carpet sweeper than a vacuum though.

  • Also; in addition; my friend has to sweep the floor after the noisy robot vacuum had finished!

  • I was having coffee at a friend’s place and her robot vacuum was on; it was noisy when it got stuck on things and just kept bashing them! To be honest that demonstration did not impress me! Maybe another model would have been more efficient? It did make me laugh!

  • The LG Roboking are meant to be really good, as well as the Roomba. You might be able to pick one up off ebay.

  • i think that you have to spend that money and get a rhoomba. they seem to do a great job and the company that designed that robots for the army, have made this as well.

a friend has a $350 dollar one but it will get stuck on things and need rescuing and won’t get corners well so she still has to vac. won’t pick up things about half the size of a 5 cent piece. so basically only good for minimal furniture places and only for main traffic areas with a little dirt. also she has kids so she needs to empty it out everyday and the kids try to ride it around lol

    • I was worried this may be the case, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see if they come down in price a bit. Thanks for the reply.
