School Holiday Screen ban..... - Real Mum story on MoM

After reading a story on here about children and screen time, I made the decision to ban all screens during the day for the holidays. No tv, no ds, no wii, no computer.(what was I thinking…) We are five days in and I have even joined in(posting this is my exception and no one can see me lol). So far they have built a lego town, been to a cartoon worlshop, and built a fort in a tree…..They have not once asked to come inside and their bikes are getting a massive amount of use. Last night I told them they could turn the tv on for an hour…they said NO…wanted to finish reading and building…ALIENS HAVE ABDUCTED MY CHILDREN! They are not arguing and playing really well together. I may never turn the tv on again. Hope all Mums are enjoying their holidays!
