Hello!

We just came back from a mini get away to Yallingup WA. Master 3 some how managed t get a large wood splinter stuck in his foot. having no tweezers and my child not being co operative we needed help! I rang the gp clinic and was told to wait a few hours for an appointment and there will be a fee. So we took our boy to the Margaret river hospital instead! it was straight it, and free. Mr 3 required 3 people to hold him down and even some gas to suck on. In the end he had his foot bandaged up and got to take his splinter home lol.

We are home now but there is still at least half the wood embedded under his skin! im trying bicarb on a bandaid to see if it helps. I hope we don’t have o go through that again

  • Hi Again MOM111362,
I have been using this amazing stuff for ages recently I had stitches removed and the nurse cut one and lost the end, doctor simply said it would work it’s way out but I could encourage it by applying some Magnoplasm (well guess what dr that’s exactly what I was going to do) (and did and after applying every night and covering with a band-aid, about 4-5 days later the stitch popped to the surface, I grabbed a pair of tweezers and pulled it out) PERFECT.
Do hope your little prince is doing well.

    • Thanks for your tip. I’m going to get some of this!

  • Hi MOM111362,
Please may I suggest Magnoplasm it is simply the best stuff that has ever been invented. it is a drawing agent and is the very best on the market. There is a black salve you can buy but Magnoplasm is way better, it my be a little expensive but once purchased it lasts for ages and really works wonders.

Australian Made and OwnedMagnoplasm Tried and Trusted by Generations of Australians

Magnoplasm™ Paste is a drawing paste containing glycerol and magnesium sulfate. When applied to the skin it exerts a powerful osmotic action on living cells. It is a useful initial treatment for boils, carbuncles and whitlows.
Magnoplasm Splintex™ Gel can be used as an everyday drawing agent and is available in a convenient take anywhere pack. It is used to help draw out splinters, thorns & exudates (ooze & puss)

    • cool a lot have suggested this. I think ill try it.

  • The gp said to just leave it…

    • Possibly the remaining splinter will work its way out.
Hope Master 3 is ok and hope you are too; it can be so traumatic for everyone. :)
