Hello!

I am currently breastfeeding and am guilty to say that my eating habits is not the healthiest due to my battle with postnatal depression and eating disorder… I am a terrible mum for not eating well hence not producing the best milk for my bub… have been doing a lot of research about raw food diet and is really interested in trying! Most of the recipes I have gathered so far are healing and nutritious… I bought a great blender and food processor, made a list of places I can get fresh veggies in bulk, types of food I want to make etc…

Even though it is already a little late (bub is 6 mo atm and starting on solids), I still want to try… Planning to nurse bub till she is 2 :) fingers crossed and thinking positive!

  • That is a good start already . I know how it feels as when we are stressed or just plain low, all we do is reach for junk food such as a chocolate . Processed sugar damages our health mentally and physically I think, especially if not in moderation . I cant east too much of it because of my sensitive teeth and if you can drink heaps of water . This might make your appetite crave less for sugar ( maybe )

  • Great you want to improve your eating habits ! But please don’t be too hard on yourself, when you battle with post-natal depression and eating disorder it might be good to do it in steps. First cutting out junk whilst normal eating and see how you , your bubba and the milk production go. Then you can always slowly add more raw foods whilst taking away some of the foods you were used to eat. You’re doing great ! Stay positive, that’s a huge strength !!
