Hello!

It has always been a cliche to me to have to experience so much anxiety and stress just “living” your life. Was it ever meant to be this hard? one questions when you are busting yr hump just to barely get by if it really is the right way, yet we push on through our pessimistic doubt. This has become no more apparent than now for my family and I. My partner lost his job recently and as if we weren’t struggling enough with a mortgage, bills his child support and daycare we also just lost our car. The bank and rates want to take our house and as it gets close to Xmas I do not know how to tell my 2yr old son that Santa won’t be coming this year. As a first time mum I am still getting used to the new stronger emotions I have when it comes to the well being of my child. You will do things you never thought you could or would do just because they give you the courage and strength to do so. Without hesitation after my son caught me crying he hugged me tight and told me he loved me and that everything would be ok. I don’t know what’s going to happen next but I will have courage moving forward bc my 2yr old son was wiser than i

  • What a little darling! I know it’s hard, but I suggest a visit to your local charity. The Salvos and Red Cross are amazing. They won’t let you or your child go without over Christmas and will probably offer help in other areas. Please try them

  • Oh my goodness, sounds horrific. I would like to say don’t give up, things will get better. I really hope they have improved for you. Such a sad sad situation and an all too familiar one nowadays

  • Best of luck, we don’t realise sometimes how lucky we are. Even though things are tough you have options. It may be hard to overcome pride or scruples if you’ve never required assistance before but there are organisations which will gladly help you out.

  • I can understand. … I too deal with anxiety and stress daily and sometimes when something goes wrong it just seems like everything goes wrong all at the same time. The world we live in today is so full of stress, disappointments and even corruption that living just feels like a struggle. Thats when I need God by my side. I believe that everything always turns out best in the end. You’ve lost your car but maybe there’s public transport in your area? Or friends or neighbors who can help out? Renting a home isn’t the end of the world. … Job loss is difficult but you will get through it. Have faith that another job will be found- In the meantime theres centrelink assistance. … There are ways that grocery bills can be cut back- any little saving will help out as we head towards christmas. Christmas needn’t be expensive. … The important thing is that you all have each other. .. A christmas meal needn’t be expensive or elaborate. .. maybe a friend or family member will invite you for lunch or dinner. A plate of homemade cookies doesn’t cost much and a smile and a very merry christmas wish will do instead of costly presents for family and friends. For the little one- op shops can have some very cheap toys in good condition- some have never been played with. … even a box of cookies made with love will do :-). I wish you a very merry christmas and know that everything will be alright :-)

  • Be strong for your family and never give up, stand tall, you can definately do it. Hard times hit us all, I have had hundreds and just at the last moment something good happens and it all works out. Be positive, keep smiling and conger up ways of trying to make extra cash as lack of it is what makes everything hard. Have a garage sale, a market stall making homemade stuff somewhere… show your family your not about to give up. Go girl, your boss and you rule!
