Hello!

I made cupcakes yesterday with my youngest who is two and she very happily ate one warm, I then decided to wait until they had cooled down and ice them. I don’t normally bother with icing as they are happy without it and I don’t really like it as it’s so sweet. But this time I made some vanilla icing and that afternoon when my oldest was home from school we each had a cupcake, only this time my youngest only ate the top of her cupcake. She then handed it to me saying “Sugar all gone, I finished Mummy, sugar all gone” and didn’t want anymore. So most of the cupcake was rejected for not having icing when that morning she had happily eaten the whole thing without icing. I won’t be icing my cupcakes from now on!

  • I find that a lot too. Sugar is so addictive! I’m currently attempting the I Quit Sugar campaign. It was really hard at the start but is getting easier as I go along. It becomes second nature to read labels, buy fresh food and cook from scratch
