  • I’m so not looking forward to the teenager years.

  • They seem to be getting younger every generation and you will find it is now staring at around 13 years of age and just gets worst from there. They really should come with a manual :)

  • I’m in my 30’s but I have a 16 year old sister and I see the generation gap and the difference in teens and today’s society so much in her behaviour. I’m not saying I was an angel and a perfect child, but I certainly had more respect for what my parents had to say and was too scared to disobey them like a lot of us for fear of punishment.

  • I have a 16yo and, yep she knows everything!!!! Problem is she is so smart, she actually does know everything!!!!! Trivia, maths, nature, science, language…..Drives my nineteen yo nuts. Certainly keeps me on my toes though. Have never been able to give her a quick answer to a question because she always has the next question ready. And if I don’t have an answer, she googles it and them explains it to me!

    • I wish I was as smart as them, there to smart these day

  • LOL this made me laugh. My daughter is still a baby so she hasn’t reached that stage yet but yep that was me when I was a teenager and thought I knew everything. Didn’t realise how clueless I was until when I moved away from home and realised that mum was right! Don’t worry as your children grow older and wiser they’ll take every advice and lesson you’ve given them into consideration

    • They will always come back and with they have there own family they will know wat we were saying

  • I have four kids 18,15,14 and 4 and i know what you mean they always have to have the last word and think that they know better than you do.
I wouldnt change them for the world either but sometimes dont you just wish they would actually listen to you first time round.

    • I give up these days, the know everything they will learn
