You have made me feel so much better, Thankyou Reading your responses I realise you are so correct, one of my friends goes to mothers group and her child is always left with the grandparent while she goes out with them or away for the weekend. I can neither afford to do that and nor do I want to. I do take my son to the park, playground, indoor play gyms, swimming with his cousins (who range in age from 16 months to 15 years and the older ones adore him and play with him), friends come and take him out for me and I also have a group of mums who I’m really good friends with and we catch up for coffee all the time, it’s just that my 14 month old is by far the youngest and their children are all in school. He also goes to daycare 2 days a week while I’m at work and so I guess he’ll make friends there and be ok. I just don’t want to do the wrong thing by him though.
Katelt that mums group in your area sounds awful 
I think maybe I’m better off. Thanx heaps girls for making me feel so much better xxx
