Hello!

A couple of months ago I was shopping with my then 2 month old and 3 year old (It was the first shopping trip on my own with the 2 kids). I must of picked the worst time to go as half way through the shop my 3 year old decided to play up hitting his sister on the head and making her scream. Once we sorted out that issue we started our way to the check outs when the 2 month old decided she needed a breast feed and she needed it now. So i have picked her up to comfort her, gone to the check out (with a cranky 3 year old as he was getting very tired by this stage, and a screaming baby), when the cashier saw the struggle I was having called over a colleague to help pack my trolley, she then offered to help me to the car ( i said thank you but let them know i was just going to sit and feed). So I would just like to say a big thank you to the ladies at Coles, Redlynch for the big help and the understanding that we all have days like this, it made this mummy feel a lot better after feeling like never going shopping on her own again.

  • It can really make you day when others help you without judgement when things are going wrong. They had toof been mums themselves to truely understand what you were dealing with/

  • So lovely of you to post this. It’s always the complaints and bad experiences that get posted, hardly ever do you hear a good news story. It can be stressful going shopping with children so it’s nice to know that there are some compassionate people out there.
