Hello!

It was a really difficult year last year with my husband not being well. There were some long days and I was feeling a little lost. It is these times that you really do rely on family and friends. My daughter and son in law were so fantastic with trips to and from the hospital even though they were both very busy. They never complained or said they were busy but I know they have a hectic schedule with their young daughter. We’d also get lots of photos and videos of my grand daughter (only have the one) which I’d print and show to my husband. It always cheered him up and really helped us to get through a difficult year. It is these small gestures that let people know you are thinking about them and care. If you get time maybe make a small gesture to someone you know who is struggling – might make a world of difference to them.

  • We share similar story…. we have got no families around. Just me, hubby and a baby. Definitely crucial to support each other in order to go through this wonderful journey!
