I loved this story. It is so truthful and so honest and it really happens!

I totally agree, I have been the most shocked by my fuzzy brain. I had heard people talk about mummy brain but I honestly didn’t think this would be me…how wrong I was…

  yeah and i love how mummy brain happens at the most awkward times! like when people ask when my kids birthdays are and i can only remember the date that they were going to be born on and not their actual birth date….. and i’m there scratching my head and they’re like c’mon it’s not a stumper, it’s not like it’s an important date or anything….lol

  Your writing style is really engaging and entertaining. Have you ever considered writing a piece to submit to mum for the chance to write pieces on here? It really kept my attention, and I think if a piece of writing can do that then you are good at what you do. I also loved another piece I read about 12 signs you need a girls night out. In all seriousness you ladies should submit your work. Some people have a natural inclination and gift for this sort of thing.

This is the absolute truth! I love how humorous your post was, at the same time I thought about all those real life scenarios I had been in with my own son. The ending statement was so beautiful and is also spot on. I think motherhood not only mellowed me, but made me into a stronger, better, kinder and more loving person and taught me self sacrifice without even thinking about it. Great post. You write very well indeed.
