Hello!

I am, by choice, a stay at home mum. It has always been my dream to buy a house, get married, have babies and stay home with them for as long as possible like my mum did for us and like my husbands mum did for them. I believe in making every moment special, raising my boys to be the best people that they can possibly be. To contribute to this world in the most positive ways possible. To teach them values and morals and to know nothing but love, respect and support. Its exhausting but its the most amazing role I have and will ever have on this earth.

I love it, but…. Some days it feels the weight of the world is on my shoulders. Like if anyone else spends too much time with my kids, they will influence them and change them and all my hard work will be undone. I know I can only do my best and my kids need to spend time with others to develop their own sense of self and conscience and understand the difference between right and wrong and have a chance to make a difference in others lives but the overwhelming urge to protect them becomes all too much at times.

Being a mum is a tough gig but I wouldnt have it any other way ;)

  • I feel the same at times. I love being a SAHM and being home after school – even for my teens. My 4 year old starts next year and I’m going to miss him so much. Not ready for work yet (especially as all 3 of mine were sick so much this Winter and with a job I would have had to quit I’d imagine) Maybe time for some volunteer work for me.

  • If you teach them right, they’ll make the right decisions.

  • As mum, I will do my best for my children. Together with my husband, we teach our kids the right decisions in life. It is a lot better for children to be close to their parents.
