Hello!

We are pondering the idea of having a different Christmas this year. We are thinking of having an alternative Christmas rather than traditional. We usually have a feast of roast turkey with all of the trimmings and plum pudding with brandy butter. We are thinking of having a seafood feast at the coast and having a beach Christmas. We are also thinking of keeping the presents to a minimum, donating money to charity instead and spending money on accommodation at the coast and having a good long holiday. Presents will lose appeal, but holiday experiences and memories will go on forever. What do other Mums think?

  • Its a good idea to try something new, just expect it to be expensive at the coast,if you stay on after christmas. i know of some hotels trippiling their prices per night close to new years eve. It would be great for the kids to have a new experience over christmas. and easy to explain why santa can not give to many gifts etc due to having to take them home again.
    Happy holidays….
