Hello!

Well on Wednesday she under went her egg pick up. Six years ago she had a egg pick up and the got 17 eggs which is truly amazing and alot higher than the normal high pick up. Well this time she shocked again and they got 21 eggs so now she is on bed rest as she is high risk due to the amount of eggs. On Monday she will have 2 embryo’s inserted so fingers cross they take. She has also decided once she has completed her family she will donate the rest of the embryo’s so a couple can have a chance that would would never have had a chance of a family. The only down side is she was to start her EN course so looks like she will be missing almost a week of it and will have to catch up. They also found she has a dermoid cyst on the side of one ovary which has grown 4cm in 2 weeks and this will have to be removed but they said when she falls pregnant she will have to have a c section so the cyst can be removed at the same time. So now I have all my fingers and toes cross that like last time it took first go

  • Will have my fingers crossed for you and your daughter good luck.
i also did IVF and we also donated 4 eggs as we fell pregnant with our son and didn’t just want them to be destroyed as there are so many people out there that can’t egg produce eggs.

  • Wow, 21 eggs is a LOT! She must be in quite a bit of discomfort with the fluid buildup (I know a thing or two about IVF), but fingers, toes and eyes crossed that as you say, this is her last time.

  • That’s very exciting for all of you, sending some prayers your way that it works out well :)
