Hello!

I just read an article on Wendy Lydall, who boasts of convincing hundreds of parents not to vaccinate.

Why?

If a parent is so foolish as to refuse to protect their child, let the relevant authorities deal with it, but why go out of her way to convince vunerable, gulliable people to follow in her misguided footsteps?

I know there is a huge amount of controversy over the whole vaccination issue, but surely this sort of behaviour should be stopped. I can understand if there is a genuine medical reason not to immunise a child, but telling people “whooping cough is a breeze and just an excuse to get out of school?”

I would love to see her try to explain that to parents in ICU watching their baby struggle to breath.

So please, if you are confused or unsure about the benefits/risks of vaccination, use your brains. Do your own research, ask medical professionals, but do not listen to half baked conspiracy theories!

(Sorry, it just makes me so cross, and makes me feel so helpless when I read about these awful people)

  • This blog lies about me, as many vax nutters do. I have never bragged about anything, and I don’t try to convince parents not to vaccinate. Since 1795 there has always been a minority who are capable of logical thinking, so all I do is to provide factual information for them.

  • Yes, I agree. People need to do their own research on the subject and not rely on popular opinions from celebrities and so on.

  • This is so true. Yes, a small percentage of children have really bad reactions to vaccinations, but that doesn’t mean would should jump on the bandwagon of stopping having our kids immunised. It needs to be stopped, it could nearly bad as the Muslim extremists brainwashing people

  • Vaccination is important for the protection of children. Unfortunately; some diseases are returning.

  • For me, it was a no brainer, my kids all got vaccinated.

  • I agree with you so much … Some ppl are just sheep and not leaders. I lost a baby at vaccination time but it never stopped me from vaccinating my other children.
