Hello!

Today, my 1st born turns 18. I have 4 children, my youngest 10 – but its so hard to comprehend, my 1st born is officially an adult. Funny how we look in the mirror (atleast I do) and see the same me, yet from when my 1st baby was born to now, its been 18 years. Not quite sure if its not wanting to age, or not wanting to simply grow up, or indeed, let our kids grow up. Maybe a bit of each. I want all my 4 babies, under 5, sitting in front of the TV, together, watching Play School again. It saddens me that I took those times for granted because I will never get them back. BUT – this is life!! Our kids grow up way too quickly. I just pray, each and every day, that My family and I are given continued health and we continue to see each other grow. Happy 18th to my baby

  • I cannot imagine my little ones at that age. I find my 2 year old is growing up way too fast… can’t imagine how I will feel when he is 18.

    • enjoy them while they are young :/

  • Well done to you. I too have the same feeling. My oldest is 26 and my youngest is 14. I think we feel young still as our youngest are still at an age where they are still dependent on us. Also my body age doesn’t seem to agree with the age I feel, hehe.
