Police are currently searching a Sydney property where they believe they could find the body of a newborn baby.

The search is expected to take quite some time as detectives from Strike Force Enact are searching through thick bushland on a rural property.

Officers from the Homicide Squad have received information about a newborn baby’s murder from back in 2008 or 2009 assaying nd that the body is located on a property on Cliftonville Road, South Maroota, NSW.

Detective Chief Inspector Angelo Memmolo from the Homicide Squad has called on the public for any information in relation to the baby’s death.

“If anyone has knowledge about the possible murder of a baby around this time, please get in touch with us”

  • I hope the information given to the Police is geniune and not a waste of resources. Only if they find the baby’s body will they know whether or not he/she was murdered or died from a medical problem.
