Hello!

We bet you thought you’d finished your Coles Little Shop 2 collection? Well **newsflash** you haven’t!

Coles has just announced that it is an adding an extra mini to its Little Shop 2 campaign.

With only 2 weeks to go before the collection ends, we thought that we were home free with our completed collection now gathering dust with all the other collectable folders.

As an added incentive to get to the shops, Coles is offering a mini kids’ newspaper as a bonus collectable.

And even better, you don’t have to spend $30 to get hold of one – you just need to buy any News Corp publication this coming weekend and you’ll get the newspaper mini for free.

The offer is available in-store only and not online or at Coles Express.

Oh Where, Oh Where, Will My Newspaper Go?

However, there is a catch – there is no spare space for the mini in the Little Shop 2 Case. Great marketing campaign for the newspapers – but poor forethought for us collectors, who now have to find a bit of space to squeeze in the new mini.

Any bright ideas where the little newspaper can go?

A New Collection On Its Way

As one collection ends, so another one begins. Last week we shared that Woolworths is launching Discovery Garden soon.

The promotion involves giving customers a seedling kit and various seeds when they shop at the supermarket. We can’t wait!

  • Not something we made a fuss over in this household

  • We received a few of the Coles Mini Shops from a neighbour and my 3 year old had a play with them for a little bit but we certainly don’t bother to collect them.

  • No we didn’t get it

  • I love the Coles little shop mini’s

  • I don’t get the craziness over Coles Little Shop – what’s the big deal about them? I’ve only been keeping them for the dolls house…

  • My kids have enough of these for a set, but I haven’t encouraged the ‘get them all’ mentality. All the Woolies ones have been better, recently, at least for my family’s tastes.

  • There is no space for it in the case?

  • I didn’t worry about completing the set as I did the Woolies one and spent more than I should’ve on that. Coles is further away, too. I am really looking forward to Woolies’ next one, Discovery Garden. I hope Coles come up with something just as fun.

  • My kids love the minis and all the collectables, but i dont go out of my way to collect them. I do love the idea of the garden plants from woolies, i suspect they will be very popular. Mygirls use the coles minis for their dolls.

  • There’s nowhere for it to go in the case so I didn’t bother.

  • I don’t collect the mini collectables and I don’t shop at Coles. I will be collecting the Woolworths Discovery Garden though

  • No I wouldn’t I don’t shop at Cole’s

  • I’m so over the little shop, please make it go away, I purposely haven;t been going to Coles to avoid this
