Heartless trolls have attacked a fundraiser page for grieving young mum who lost her toddler and partner in a car crash.
A fundraising page set up to raise money for the young mum whose toddler and partner died in a horror car crash after he try to avoid a police breath test has been slammed as ‘disgusting’.
Alex Peart, 19, was stopped in a line of traffic at an RBT on the Tasman Highway in Sorell in Hobart on Thursday at 9.10pm, when he made a U-turn and lost control of his Holden Vectra.
Mr Peart and his two-year-old daughter Ruby were both killed after the car was engulfed in flames and his girlfriend Xanna Rose Weavell, 18, who was in the front passenger seat, was rushed to hospital with minor injuries.
Friends of the family set up a GoFundMe page to help Ms Weavell ‘get back on her feet,’ but the page was trolled, with some saying strangers who donate are ‘supporting the murder of a baby’.
Ms Weavell’s sister Jazmine told Daily Mail Australia those posting negative comments on the GoFundMe page are extremely disrespectful.
‘People just thrive off it these days and it’s honestly not right of them but there isn’t anything we can do,’ she said.
‘We know the truth and know how much Alex loved and adored his beautiful daughter.
‘Ruby never went without, she was loved by so many and touch so many hearts’.
Jazmine said her sister is still in the hospital
Family friend Aaron Unsworth, who created one of the two crowdfunding pages for Ms Weavell, said although Ms Peart’s actions were ‘irresponsible,’ those who did not know him cannot judge his character.
‘Had this tragedy not occurred, Ruby would have lived a life of love, laughter and happiness,’ Mr Unsworth told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Making comments that are completely insensitive will only cause more pain’.
So FAR $11,000 has been raised. GOFUNDME.

A toddler has been killed when the driver of vehicle he was travelling in crashed while trying to avoid an alcohol breath testing station.
A man who pulled out of a line of cars waiting at a breath testing station, crashed his car, killing himself and a two-year-old passenger, Tasmania Police say.
In a statement, Tasmania Police said the 19-year-old man from Midway Point and the female toddler, also from Midway Point, were killed in the single vehicle crash on the Tasman Highway, in Sorell, about 9:10pm on Thursday, reports ABC News.
A female passenger survived the crash.
“Police were conducting a static random breath testing (RBT) site on the Tasman Highway Midway Point at the roundabout with Penna Road,” police said.
They said the man’s car stopped in the line of traffic before it made a U-turn and travelled back towards Sorell, overtaking other vehicles.

The driver soon after lost control, hitting a pole, with the impact causing the vehicle to break into two.
“The rear of the vehicle remained in contact with the pole and the front came to rest in the westbound lane,” police said.
“On impact with the pole the rear of the vehicle caught fire and was engulfed in flames. Unfortunately the toddler, who was in the rear, could not be saved.”
Police said the male driver and a front seat passenger were thrown from the front of the vehicle.
“The driver was declared deceased at the scene. The female passenger was conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
Police are seeking information from any member of the public who may have been in the RBT line and witnessed the crash.
Such a tragedy. That poor little bubba.
