  • Vietnam. I love Asian food. Having travelled over the years to Bali, Thailand, Fiji, Vietnam… I love some of their local foods. I’m not a heat or spice lover, but have managed to find many options that are just delicious and now some of my faves.

  • I cook Asian meals quite often, mainly Thai food. Once you have all the basic ingredients you can make many meals for many months till they run out – and every dish is so different and unique. Thanks for posting your idea of the thermomix, but my wok on the gas stove does a beautiful job, and an ordinary frying pan will also work well.

  • Our family is mostly a “meat and potatoes” food family. I used to love cooking Italian and Chinese recipes but it’s just too expensive anymore. Plus there’s only 2 of us and I’m the only one who likes these dishes now.

  • I love eating Asian foods although don’t attempt cooking them because they usually have too many ingredients and it ends up being quite costly for one family meal.
