  • Love this, it’s great to see a recipe suitable for day care birthday celebrations. My kids have not been diagnosed with any allergies but I always try to be mindful of other kids too.

Ps disappointed to see some negative comments. If you don’t like it don’t make it.

  • I am guessing that it is GLUTEN FREE icing sugar that is sprinkled on the top.
Not all icing sugar or icing mixture is gluten free. Some of them have flour in them so that if they are mixed with warm milk or partially melted butter the sugar doesn’t go like syrup.

  • I have never like the chocolate-orange combination. I do like a nice classic chocolate flourless cake though.

  • Some beautiful ingredients except for the white refined caster sugar and sunflower oil, but you could easily substitute that with healthier ingredients.

  • I love orange chocolate cake and make it with almond flour too, but pop whole cooked oranges in the batter and use 1 tbsp coconut palm sugar instead of the lot of caster sugar used in this recipe.
