I admit that I’ve never made a Christmas pudding and decided it was time I learnt. This recipe I found is easy to follow and tastes delicious.

  • I have a traditional and secret recipe for Christmas pudding and it is adored by everyone. It is incredibly moist and good to eat.

    • I have never shared the recipe – not allowed! :)

  • I love having a crack at making traditional items… I never do it terribly well (they never look the same) but they always taste okay!

  • I’ve never made an Xmas pudding either, most likely because I don’t like them. I found a malteasers pudding on here, now that I like

  • This one looks crumbly. Just wish my MIL had left her recipe to someone as it was a great one to eat.

  • I love Christmas pudding and often buy one from the Lions Club.

  • It looks a lot easier than I imagined. I would have to adjust this recipe a little though as we can’t all eat it if it has eggs and I’m not sure about the guinness, although it would probably give an amazing depth of flavour.

  • I use a christmas pudding recipe that I found one christmas in the Womens Weekly magazine – it was super easy, and incredibly yummy and I’ve now adapted it from the original to a rum flavour one, an irish whiskey one and a stones one just like my mum made – I’m always on the lookout for other simple xmas puddings to try and this looks like a great one – thank you for sharing

  • I use a recipe without flour and added sugar (besides the dried fruit) and with cooked oranges in the peel, which is easy and yummie and a bit more healthy.

  • Might have to give this a go with a few tweaks. I find otherwise that it is a little too spicy for me.

  • I love Xmas pudding but always thought it was too difficult to make. This recipe seems quiet easy to follow.
