Midwife Lisa Marie Sanchez Oxenham, from Anaheim, California, shared the video on Facebook of new mother Audra in the final few seconds of pushing out her son.

She posted the video with the accompanying caption: ‘My client Audra’s beautiful second home birth.

‘A midwife’s role is fluid, providing whatever is necessary for each individual birthing experience, although almost always that role is simply to offer the gift of quiet.’

The video has received 56,000 likes, 23,000 comments and has been shared over 107,000 times.
