In recognition of the midwives and nurses selfless work during these extraordinary times, the team at WaterWipes® have sent ‘thank you’ care packages to hospitals across the country.

Six pallets of biscuits, chocolates as well as WaterWipes® baby wipes and sensitive Facial Wipes, departed the warehouse to those who have been on the frontline, helping new mums through the scariest of times.

“As we’ve all been isolating and putting family, life and work plans on hold, the delivery of newborns is something that can’t wait. The midwife community has always been such a great supporter of us, and we wanted to simply say ‘thank you’ and show our appreciation during this challenging time,” said Andrea Hawes, WaterWipes® Australasia Brand Manager .

To further support midwives across the country, WaterWipes® have launched a Trans-Tasman midwife campaign which officially kicked off on International Day of the Midwife. Midwives across Australia and New Zealand have the chance to receive a $1,000, $500 or $300 voucher for their hard work by simply going here to register.

“We’ve already had such an overwhelming response since registrations opened on last week.  We’re also now in planning mode to launch a campaign where mums can nominate their favourite midwife and share their story of why they deserve to win, and of course thank them at the same time,” said Andrea.

  • I gave birth when covid was beginning to impact hospitals and the midwives were amazing. They were so busy and yet so professional and attentive. I love hearing how people are giving back to health workers. They work so hard!
