Neither diet nor exercise is important. Diet is about restricting food intake; your body will fight that to its end. With exercise it is written; body training is of little profit. That’s the truth, take little time off; you will lose muscle mass much fast than gain it. Why? Your second brain, the stomach organs, only has one task; survival. It’s the first brain, in the head, that decides how well it survives. Enough being philosophical, now practical. Captain Common Sense says diet is this: “Eat More, Not Less!” Eat more varied food stuff that is closest to its original form FIRST! Then eat the rest after. Or another way to look, eat anything that breaks down to sugar, including bread and grain based foods LAST. Exercise, only to tone, strengthen and lengthen. Your body weight exercise is more than enough and the best part is, the better you get, the lighter the weight is. Try that at a gym.
