Is this the world’s most embarrassing dad? A teenager got the shock of his life when his dad turned up to sit in on him in class.

After his physics teacher complained to his parents numerous times that he was misbehaving, dad decided to take matters into his own hands.

Bradley Howard, 17, attends Rockwall-Heath High School in North Texas in the U.S. and was having trouble setting down and doing his work.

After receiving repeated complaints from Bradley’s teacher, father Brad threatened to come to class and sit next to him if he didn’t start behaving.

The teenager didn’t start behaving so Brad turned up.

Here is the embarrassingly brilliant result posted by Bradley’s sister Molli who was keen to further her brother’s humiliation via Twitter.

He was warned, “If you do this again, if we get another note from your teacher, I’m going to come up there and sit with you in class,” the hilarious dad told NBCDFW TV.

When they received another complaint from Bradley’s physics teacher they decided it was time to see through the threat.

Brad arrived in class ahead of teenager Bradley and sat next to his desk. Bradley says he didn’t even see his dad when he first arrived but then spotted him.

“We didn’t tell him anything,” the father-of-four said. “I was in the classroom sitting beside his chair when he walked in. He didn’t see me at first. Then he was shocked.”

The amazing Dad said son Bradley’s classmates “seemed to love it, but Bradley, not so much”. So, mission accomplished

  • I have done this as was told my oldest was causing fights at lunch and the school wanted it stopped. So i told the school I was willing to supervise my child and I told him if it happened again I would be there to see him behaved. He dared me and said i would take the teachers side. So with a video camera hiding in a spot picked out by the play ground supervising teacher taped my son’s actions. Only to find out it was not my child causing the problem. The idea was meant to show him mis-behaving instead caught out other children picking fights with him. This showed I cared enough to care about my son and that the teacher looking after the playground does not always see what is going on.

  • Wow!!! Obviously Brad arranged with the school to do that beforehand.
One desperate very smart Dad. Bradley found out his Dad would do what he said – it wasn’t a threat, it was a promise. Maybe a few more Dads need to do this if their son/s misbehaves and the Mums do it with the girl/s.
Better than being suspended for a few days. Some kids who hate school deliberately misbehave so they spend time at home instead. I know a girl who did it a few years ago. Yes she told her Grandma about it when I just happened to be visiting there. I was shocked. I found later that Grandma alerted the parents as the girl was doing it constantly.

  • If you always follow through with each threat, then your child is going to think twice about doing the wrong thing.

  • So great that he followed through. Definitely keeping this in mind for teenage years.

  • Good, if you threaten your kid with this type of thing or another punishment or promise of good things, you need to follow through, every single time!
