Hello!

As you probably know, Movember is upon us. There will be many men parading about with huge, 70s porn taches and twee, slimline WWII fighter pilot twirly waxed taches throughout the month of Movember. Why should we women miss out?…

Airtasker has decided that raising money for men’s health issues is not a cause just for the boys – us girls can get involved as well.

The idea is simple; we can hire an Airtasker to grow a moustache for us!

Here is how it works;

  1. Jump on to the Airtasker website
  2. Ladies who would like to grow a Mo vicariously, can post a job asking a charming and debonair Airtasker to grow a moustache on their behalf, with the proceeds going to the Movember charity
  3. The cost of hiring the Airtasker will go straight to the charity and any money Airtasker takes in will also be donated to the Movember cause

Even though we all know plenty of girls who can, the idea of growing a moustache in its full glory may seem unpalatable… So, Airtasker is here to take that issue out of the equation and get on with the business of making the most money for a wonderful cause.

  • I’ll look out for this for next Movember. There is so much awareness and publicity for Breast Cancer and some for Ovarian Cancer but Prostate Cancer and other male cancers and conditions are widespread and equally devastating for families but not really well supported yet. This looks like another good way to help.

  • What a clever idea. Although if you asked my other half, he would probably say that I have a better moustache than him anyway. It’s always good to support Movember, as the money goes to such a good cause.

  • My neice shaved her head for Movember. She registered and got sponsored and also had a party and you could shave off one of her dreadlocks for $10. It was a fantastic effort.

    • Oh good on your niece, will be getting involved myself this year.
