Kmart shoppers, who have managed to get their hands on the Kmart slow cooker, have scored some laughs for free.

Some eagle-eyed consumers have spotted a rude misprint on the safety warning of the popular $19.00 appliance.

The engraved instructions had one letter out of place, giving a whole new and humourous meaning to the message.

The second “o” in the word “cook” had been replaced with a “c”.

“Caution! To prevent damage or shock hazard do not cook in this liner.”

“Co*k only in container provided. Do not immerse in water.”

And yes, it’s all a bit juvenile but we couldn’t help having a bit of a giggle.

The unfortunate error was shared on a facebook group, with many amused commenters responding with appropriate puns – like calling the pot a “c*ckpot” or saying that Kmart had made a “c*ck up”.

The typo was first shared to a closed Facebook group and people found the mistake rather amusing, with many making pun-tastic jokes, such as “what a c*ck up” and referring to the pot as a “c*ckpot”.

“Does this mean the meat will fall off the bone(r)?” noted one sharp commenter.

Yahoo News Australia has reported that Kmart has fixed the mistake and will not appear on new products. What a pity, we found the whole thing quite amusing.

A Pie Maker Misprint

In a related incident, we recently discovered an amusing typo in the recipe booklet of the super-popular Kmart pie maker. The last recipe on the page read “Chocolate Dam Pet” whereas it should have said Chocolate Damper.

We did actually google “Dam Pet” but it’s probably best we don’t share the results.

When shared on a pie maker group, some commenters were in hysterics.

“I’ve got 3 dam pets myself. Never considered putting them in the pie maker though”, one quipped.

“Maybe damper x crumpet = dam pet?”, another suggested.
