  • there are heaps of quick and simple body scrub ideas on the net. or rocky road is usually a winner

  • Notebooks with pens wrapped together is something almost all mums can use.

  • Tea towels, pot plants, heat packs, photo frames, hand paintings

  • Heat packs are easy to sew and cheap. I\’ve also made fabric pouches that the mums LOVE, a little longer to make but not too long or expensive. Here\’s a tutorial that\’s similar to how I make them: http://www.threadingmyway.com/2012/06/denim-fabric-baskets-tutorial.html. I\’ve also bought wooden geometric beads from Ali Express and made necklaces, the mums raved about these and they are super cheap – less than $2 each to make. (The last pic are cheap sleep masks that a friend\’s mum embroidered for me. We included some ear plugs as a cute \”Mum sleep in\” pack).

  • There are some great suggestions here!

  • there is a great womans weekly book on fetes that may even be an online book by now – look there x

  • Bookmarks, key rings, little cases for packs of tissues – all are small, useful, not too expensive.

  • Making bathbombs would be great and the kids can help with this and then packing in pretty little bags from the cheap shop. Salt dough ear rings, or fridge magnets again the kids can help with this and you can usually buy magnets from cheap shops to.

  • there are heaps of ideas on this website, also taste.com.au. and womens weekly cookbooks have one called cake stall which is awesome

  • Some great answers here, love this site for helpful information. Thank you

  • One year I was given hot chocolate, ingredients already combined. It contained milk powder – lactose free – all the recipient needed to add was boiling water. You can give it either with our without a mug.

  • Our recent mothers day stall had beaded jewellery sets.. we found alot of handy crafty mothers who made little sets of jewelery., they sold really well.

  • You can also google P and C fundraising ideas for your Mother’s Day stall. There are some fun ideas out there.

  • A jar layered with cookie ingredients With a ribbon and printed baking instructions attached. Or a frame with painted blackboard paint. You’re nice and organized:) good job!

  • Some nice suggestions here I cant think of any more!

  • Thank you for your suggestions. I’ll b taking these ideas to our parents and friends meeting early in February. Appreciate all the suggestions.

  • Bookmarks; or small pouches for coins or other knick knacks; blank notebooks where you’ve fancied up the cover; or you can buy wooden photo frames which you could decorate in some way.

  • I suggest using your skill set to make things for the stall. What do you like doing the most – cooking/craft? Chutneys and jams are always wonderful and chutney and jams that are a little different always sell. Craft with current trends always sells well too. Off cuts from fabric stores are good for craft and they are usually incredibly cheap too. Have fun cooking and crafting for the stall.

  • Homemade bath bombs. There’s actually a great recipe for these on this website somewhere…

  • i like the idea also of sprucing up a jar and filling with lollies or choccies etc!. brilliant!
