This is great and easy, my biggest problem is everything likes beans and peas especially all the wild rabbits that are in almost plague numbers around my place. I guess I’ll have to get more wire to protect them.

We will be doing this as well as the ‘three sisters’ technique this year: which is to grow corn,beans and squash together. Lots of work in our garden this year.

The birds, snail and slugs will attack the peas before they will the beans. I just wonder how we are going to pick the beans that grow inside the teepee. Push your hands through ?? I have never had my beans attacked by sparrows but they eat the peas off very quickly even if planted and shielded by an old window screen. You will be lucky if the plants grow more than the length of your ring finger.
