i very much enjoy reading books that have an element of truth based on historical facts

I love a story based in the past, focusing on relationships within such a different time to those we are living in

Winter is approaching and nothing better to curl up with a new author with a great book .

I would love to win this book as I have been told that Sue Williams is a great writer and, I have not as yet read any of her books so would like to include her in my Library.

I would love to win this book as the story sounds fascinating. I like that it is a historical tale and that it is about early days in Australia. I am a voracious reader and am always looking to try different author’s offerings.

I have always been a reader.
Life, kids and work happened, and now it’s rare for me to get the chance to sit down and read a book. I find though, that when there is an unread book at home, I will somehow find time to read it. This is one I haven’t read, and it looks like it could be “my type”.

I would love to win this book because it sounds like a fascinating story one of intrigue betrayal and drama all the things that I like to read about. It sounds exciting and would be great to read about early Australia and all the hardships that people had to bear.

I absolutely love books, they’re such a great way of losing myself in someone else’s life and world. Historical fiction is particularly fun because I always feel as if I learn a little something along the way. Australian historical fiction shows paths that led to modern day Australia.

I love that it’s based on historical events. As a immigrant from the Uk I’m interested in Australian and English history

So many elements to love about “The Governor, his Wife and his Mistress” – the Australian history, the contrast between wife and mistress and their relationships and the difficulties of life in the new colony. This would be an enjoyable and educational read.

As i love to read, i have heard its a very good book and its one that your unable to put down once you start. Do um very interested in reading it and having my view.

It is too expensive to buy books these days, and I just borrow from the library. hence it would be ideal if I own a book of my own.
