I’m a huge fan of historical fiction. I’ve just recently finished a set about colonial Australia and it was fascinating! This book that focuses on women, really excites me. With international women’s day coming, it’s the perfect time to read.

I love reading, and it would be a really great book to read

I love to read all of the time and historical romance books are my favourite of all. I find with historical romance I can forget about life for a while and get lost in these books.

I loved That Bligh girl by Sue Williams and this tale sounds just as intriguing. Having grown up near Elizabeth Bay I have a good idea of the area which makes it even more interesting to read a book about the beginnings of the fabulous country and the philandering that went on during that time. It is also lovely to read about the women of that time as most history seems to concentrate on the men. Love to curl up on my lounge and read this book on a cool autumn evening.

Nothing better than a good book after a busy few days. I love to sit and read when I have the house to myself. Historical novels are a big favourite of mine especially when they are Australian based.

As a pensioner i find it difficult to afford new reading materials with so many other demands on my income. Im part of a group of like people and we share the books around our group then donate them to rotary to help them fundraise for the orphanages they support.

I love Australian historical fiction as it takes you back to the early days of settlement and how harsh the living standards were except of course for the wealthy and those in power.

I love Sue Williams books and this one sounds very interesting. I would love to read this before passing it on to my friend for her enjoyment as well.
