Meeting my 30 new best friends.

My story is about my three children’s first school day. As I walked home after I dropped them off at school I cried all the way home.

I remember being picked up by the principal because I didn’t want to stay and I kicked him in the privates.

Packing my little school case with all new things and getting whole new outfit to wear, even new socks!!

I remember wearing my school dress which was so long that it hung down to my knees like a large tent!

Meeting my friend from pre-school in the same class. We had so much fun. Playing with counting rods to sticks in my mind.

I remember the little blue chairs and that the classroom was really big.

I had lots of fabulous memories about starting school. Being able to wear my school uniform and actually go to school like my older brother and sister was probably the best memory as I’m several years younger than my siblings so waiting was excruciating.

I don’t have any. I hated school , hated leaving my dog , hated my dress as shorts and a t. Shirt were me hated going to the scary toilet and most of all I missed my mum .

My favourite memory of my first day of school is probably the first day of my last year of school, everyone was in such a good mood as we were all graduating and getting ready to go to university and even though we were leaving friends we knew we’d made ones we could keep for a lifetime.

Getting to walk to school for the first time with my neighbour who is 2 years older than me, feeling like I was one of the big kids!

My uncle gave me his watch and said at 3:00 is when we will pick you up and pointed to the 3, i remember checking throughout the day waiting for it to come 🙂

Seeing Dad cry, who’s the tough guy now

Feeling like a big girl now. I am finally at school it was such an exciting time but also scary. Having lots of new friends yo play with.
