I have a qu to ask and would appreciate if you post it on your page ( as anon pls) my 3 yr old son has excessive sweating on his head. Summer/ winter has no impact hes constantly sweating on his head. Over the past week the sweating has been so extreme that his pillow gets soaked whilst sleeping. He hasnt been ill with the flu or anything like that. Should i be worried or is it common??” Any advice for a 3 yr old sweating?

  • A quick visit to GP or child health nurse and they can reassure you if there is a problem.

  • I hope you were able to find a solution.

  • I would see a doctor and if it’s just excessive sweat glands (hyperhydrosis), then it becomes more of a how to deal with it issue, rather than something to worry about.

  • It was interesting reading the comments to this!

  • I have seen that botox works small needles into the hands but as your son is so young they probably wont do anything

  • Did this issue get resolved?

  • Hope you managed to find the answer you were looking for.

  • How are they going now?

  • Talk with your doctor if your worried

  • Check with your community health clinic and ask them

  • I would also seek advice from a medical doctor.

  • Just like MISSMANIC said- Thanks heaps ! Wondering this myself too.

  • I’m sure he is OK but got to the GP for advice .Good luck

  • Thanks heaps ! Wondering this myself.

  • I would talk to your gp or child health nurse. Also I would have sure he didn’t have anything on his feet as this heats you as put him in cotton clothes

  • To be on the safe side take him to the doctor

  • Both my kids sweated a LOT as babies, just on their heads, mostly when they were feeding or sleeping. They grew out of it way before the age of 3 though. If you’re really worried I’d ask your doctor about it.

  • Is he too hot at tight. Boys get very hot even on cold nights

  • Not common. I think u should get it checked
