  • I love a good cut up veggie platter – soft cooked carrot sticks, sliced capsicum, celery sticks, etc with a dip like hommus and some falafel balls to top it off

  • I cook a lot from the one handed cooks book which my babe really seems to like. Lots of easy healthy meals that all of us enjoy.

  • Affordable, just mash everything porridge with banana or strawberry, potato and mixed veg, pumpkin and gravy.

  • At that age my little ones loved bolognese. I’d make a big batch using lentils instead of meat and lots of veggies such as celery, carrit, zucchini and mushroom. Then I’d serve it with risoni instead of larger pasta.

  • My daughter and notoriously fussy son both LOVE ‘Cheesy Rice’. Simply cook up some rice, mix in some cooked frozen veggies, and either some ham or chicken. While it’s hot mix in some cheese until the cheese is melted. It’s quick, easy and covers several food groups :)

  • Turkey or chicken puree. Avocado and banana mash and there’s green pea pruee too. Mango and banana is scrumptious for babies.
