Hi, I’d love some tips on how to teach my 11 month old to use a sippy cup with an inbuilt straw. Thank you.
I’m trying to teach my 10 month old but he keeps drinking too much water and it ends up all over him! I’m hoping he will learn on his own.
We went straight to an open cup and used the Doidy cup https://www.fruugoaustralia.com/doidy-cup-turquoise/p-55113863-112032473?language=en&ac=google&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImfik7sqT8wIVU0FgCh0bww2IEAQYASABEgKdM_D_BwE
keep offering, show him how it’s done. Leave it around so he always sees it. Get overly excited when he does attempt it.
Keep at it persistence is key, try showing him.
It will come naturally!!
how did you go?
Mine got it after a couple of tries – how did you go?
i hope you’ve had success
Mine just took to it straight away as it is a natural instinct for them to suck
Hope you found the answer you were looking for.
hope you found what your looking for
How did you end up doing it? If you have already done it now?
How are they going with it now?
It’s just practice, they will get the hang of it eventually
Hope shes got the hang of it by now I found my kids preferred soft spouted sippy cups instead of the ones with the straw
Have u had any progress?
They learn from accidents. Just let them practice
I would suggest showing them how it is done. Get a clear straw, and show them the juice (water, milk, whatever is in the cup) comes up through the straw when you suck.
Just keep giving it to her and persist
Did your 11 month old get the hang of using a inbuilt straw yet?
Would you like to add a written rating or just a star rating?
