Hello!

Okay I was at a teenage do last night, and noticed a particularly colourful idea. The lady had used plastic wine type glasses, with smarties, and some sorts of little wrapped chocolates, she had filled each one up, then on top had put a cupcake, for the ladies it had a shoe iced on top, for the guys it had a boat. Very colourful and seemed to lift the whole table full of goodies as well. Has anybody made these for little children. I guess you would use a small plastic type tumbler, and put a small amount in each with the cupcake, sunk a bit into the middle, otherwise to many sweets and hyping children up… You could also use a toothpick and put the names on for each person on a small square of paper, if you wanted to, with the name sort of flying above the cupcake.

  • never heard of it, but that sounds like a brilliant idea

  • Sounded pretty amazing to be honest

  • I have not make this particular item before but it sounds like a very fun idea and will make the table very colorful. I will try it at our nest party

  • I have seen similar and they looked fantastic – she had silver and blue themes and had put little streamers around the bottom of the glass, and puff paint and glitter around the top

  • Love this idea. You could buy the squat 5oz plastic wine glass bought from party shops or even the Reject shop.
Kids love a glass with a stem. You could put confetti for colour. (Easy to vacuum up if spilled) A mini cupcake would look great too. You could use a permanent marker to put names or a message or decorate with 1st birthday etc.. on the glass in different colours.
