My 4 week old rolls from tummy to back and has done so from 2 weeks. Se also rolls from side to side. This is because she is very top heavy (i.e. she has a big head). She is not rolling from back to front yet and hopefully she won;t for some time.

One of ours rolled over at 7 weeks. I put her on the middle of our bed on a double thickness of a towel on her stomach to dry her back. She rolled straight over onto her back. She always hated tummy time too.
