Yes, it’s beautiful ! I make it with some raw chocolate, a bit of salt, raw vanilla powder, a bit of coffee and raw honey and sometimes I add banana.

It would be interesting to try it!

I know there are lots of chocolate mousse recipes that are based on avocado instead of cream. Would probably work for ice cream as well.

I would think avocado ice cream would be a bit bland, it doesn’t have a strong taste. Maybe have the avocado for the lovely green colour but add something else for flavour. The coconut idea sounds gorgeous

I feel bad for Mel1 and I agree both don’t go together, I hate avocado and even if I liked it I’d never try it as ice cream.

I don’t think I could bring myself to eat it, I love avocado but icecream and avocado don’t belong in the same sentence I don’t think.

I made an avocado pasta sauce once. Look good but tasted yuk.I tend to agree with Kelly’s previous comment I think you need to add something to add that bit extra. Like the sound of coconut!

I have made avocado and coconut ice cream and it was delicious i think the avocado on its own would be very bland i really think you need to add something else with it, like coconut,lime or chocolate.

Only made it once, from a recipe from the avocado growers association. Sorry to say, it was terrible and a big waste of two beautiful avocados. May have just been the recipe, but I wouldn’t want to waste them again to try again.
