Hello!

Aside from bundling up and drinking tea I easily gets cold and feel gloomy. I yearn to always be out despite working in the office few times a week. I feel restless and sad.

  • You say you work in the office a few days a week. Could you have a brisk morning work before you go to work or maybe after work. Also a walk outside during lunch break could boost your energy too. We do need the sun to stay healthy and feel good

  • Treat yourself to a spa day/massage/nails

  • There is absolutely a correlation between lack of sunshine and… lets call it depression (even if not from a clinical sense). Partly related is the inability to take in vitamin D. So I would suggest vitamin D supplements, make sure you get out doors as much as you can (not rainy days, but any sun shine even on cold days and even over cast days). Activity tends to drop off when winter hits, so keep active as activity releases endorphins in the body which make you feel good. And use the season to enjoy some wintry comfort foods like casseroles, soups and home made pies.

  • I like to binge watch something, or snuggle with my daughter watching a disney movie.

I do try to get out in the middle of the day for a walk, just to get the blood pumping and moving, rug up and walk.

the other thing is to make sure you moisturise your skin, it seems to dry out a lot in winter.
