Hello!

I’m a mum, who has bras since before her youngest was born. Yes, 6 year old bras. I’m a plus-sized mum, 20-22 D-DD with wide-set titties that are still quite full. Being wide-set, I dread bra shopping as I always get underarm bulge from a bra forcing my titties into a mono boob. Where do all you lovely curvy ladies, preferably those with wide-set titties, find good bras that won’t mean no feed for a month. I want sexy, comfort, and strapless.

  • Never heard of City Chic

  • Heard City chic is great for bigger bust

  • I’m the same size, and City Chic seem to do the best, most comfortable and yet flattering bras. They often have them as mix n match sets with knickers, which is nice. They also have a policy if you’re a club member and the bra wire snaps in the first few months of owning it, you can return for a refund or exchange. I’d recommend going in and doing a fitting, and giving them a go. They often have buy one, get the second half price and deals like that, too. I bought two pairs for a wedding after not having nice bras for 4 years, and now regularly shop their sales. ????

  • City chic is where I got mine. Online they always have sales on. I ended up get one for $50 very comfy held me all in its was actually a nice bra that didn’t look like a granny bra.

  • Omg big girls don’t cry anymore in Brisbane…. in person is awesome but they also fit you online too!! Wonderful ladies very respectful I’m a plus size girl too and felt treated just like everyone else!

  • Oh let me know if you get any good finds, I am a 14f and I CANNOT find a comfy, sexy bra 🙁

  • Im a 12F and usually get mine through bra’s n things, because they have more options than anywhere else

  • I will suggest the outlet centres also.

  • Try bras and things I’m a 12 E and they have some beautiful bras there. Bonds have some great ones as well but the larger sizes are online

  • We have a shop called Capri. They fit you for bras and have some gorgeous styles in all sizes

  • Why are good Bras so expensive I would also suggest looking online also sometimes Myer have some good ones that are not that expensive

  • There are some places that sell them and I think it is Bras plus as I’ve found it hard and just went on eBay to get my bras. I did buy some really nice ones.

  • I’ve had great success at Capri, such lovely ladies who are super healthy

  • Some lovely suggestions that im going to keep in mind myself, thanks for posting. Also, I’ll put my hand up for having old bras too haha

  • I sourced 3 bras for the price of 1 at an outlet centre. The bras are high quality and comfortable which is essential.

  • I would either search online, or go to a specialty store like Bras ‘n Things.

  • Many good tips here, hope you succeed !

  • I have found outlet centres to have a good range of larger size bras at a fraction of the usual price.

  • It’s not a personal need, but have you considered online US based websites? They seem to cater for larger sizes.

  • Big Girls don’t cry. com.au . They are wonderful and online or have a store in Brisbane and have every size and I get my swimmers from there and bras to make me amazing
