i would go the artsy direction like tye dye kits or canvas painting. my niece of a similar age is getting into sportsgirl, so maybe something from there?
Usually crafty gifts are a good idea, keeps them busy for a while too. You could make a little hamper up with varies crafts for her to do, eg: canvas, paints, brushes, glitters, glues, beads, etc, I bet she would love it, you could also add in some lipgloss, jelly bath, hair bows etc
We have a niece who’s 9 and at the moment she’s into making things, especially bracelets.
I think craft and diy kits are a pretty good gift.
Also, maybe an instax camera as kids these days love a good selfie so it would be nice for them to be able to keep the memories around their room.
This can be a tricky age where they’re starting to grow out of dolls but not yet a teenager. Perfume, lip gloss, hair accessories, nail polish, gift voucher for the cinema, zoo etc. some nice jewellery like a pandora bracelet that you could keep adding to. Good luck.
You pretty much can’t o wrong with something like a craft kit, LOLs jewellery, things from smiggle etc etc
We try to do a little mix of these things for presents
I buy my grandchildren a t-shirt so I can give them a present to open and then put money into their card, they love it and they get money from other family members that allows them to buy one large item rather than getting lots of little things.
Their own money to be able to manage and spend (or gift card), LOL and a lot of that section seems to be popular with a vast age group, a lot of their own hair accessories and craft things.
A sewing basket filled with needles, scissors, fat quarters, measuring tape, pins, felt squares etc.
This makes a great present and allows them to be creative with sewing too.
