Not sure why you would feel needing to wash scotchguarded fabric???

If you intend to wash couch covers then its pointless in scotchguarding as the idea is if a spill occurs it is suppose to repel the liquid and then you can just wipe it up. If wiping doesn’t work that means the spray is not working on that material or you didn’t spray enough . Maybe ring the consumer hotline for advice if there is one on the can ….

If they’re scotch guarded, they shouldn’t be dirty, why would you want to wash them? I would say it’s quite safe tho

You will have to re scotchguard them. Use a gentle detergent too, such as lux flakes or woolmix.

Woolworths/coles sell the scotchguard spray so you can scotchguard the items yourself.
