Hello!

I have several teachers who I would like to say an extra special thank you to this year, I just need some gift ideas (is it ok to send alcohol?) I did flowers last year, just looking for something different!

  • I’ve done coloring books with pencils; little herb pots with packets of seeds (and a bag of chocolates tucked into one); tea infusers in fancy shapes with a packet of fancy tea; coasters.

  • Why? Why are people so into buying gifts for their teachers? I never did it as a kid and not when my kids were younger either. My daughter in law is a kindy teacher and I know she gets a lot of gifts, a lot that she just won’t use

  • Chocolates always work and everyone is happy.

  • Of possible get as many mums as possible to contribute to a good gift card.

  • If it is a female you could give some bath treats..bath bombs, salts etc.
Candles are also a nice little gift.

  • I wouldn’t give alcohol. Not everybody likes alcohol. I generally give a box of chocolate together with a Christmas card. In the past we made some “class gift” and generally it was a gift voucher. But I wouldn’t do it by myself because I couldn’t put more than ten dollars anyway. Then the chocolate looks better.

  • the kids and i are going to bake a selection of cookies and truffles and yummy bits and pop them on a red plastic plate wrap with celophane and tada homemade cheap delicious gift to say thank you
