Hello!

I have a now dirty pink iPad cover which has become rather grubby. It’s smart case with a feltish inside & plastic cover. Any suggestions would be great!

  • I have a vinyl case with soft felt lining. The outside is easily wiped with a damp cloth. And that’s all I would use on the interior too. Won’t get things sparkling again but will brighten it up

  • I would try baby wipes first, they clean almost anything!

  • I would suggest using Mr Sheen on the hard plastic outer and gently wipe the inside with a damp soft cloth

  • wool mix and water, and if it doesn’t cope disregard this advice LOL

  • Baby wipes are good for cleaning ipad covers; have a go!

  • Great answers, I have the same problem so will be trying out your suggestions.

  • Cover not screen duh next time il put my glasses on haha sorry 🙂

  • I never spray anything on the screen only use them cloths that are designed for cleaning them 🙂

  • Just use baby wipes. Alternatively, you can buy cheap ipad covers on eBay. I buy them for around $5 each and they last for around 6 months before starting to show signs of wear and tear. Same as the one your are describing.

  • Thanks for all the answer I have the same problem.

  • sometimes i use glasses cleaner and other times baby wipes, they both work good

  • I’m also a big fan of baby wipes – just wondering does the manufacturer offer any cleaning suggestions?

  • I would try just a soft wet cloth with some warm water

  • A little eucalyptus oil on a cloth and then wiped over with a damp cloth should remove any sticky spots. I use a mix of half water and half vinegar in a spray bottle for general cleaning and it removes most grubby marks etc so you could try that too.

  • I would just use a damp cloth and some natural cleaning agent and gently wipe 🙂

  • I use mr sheen to clean the screen and plastic cases of ours, they get so incredibly dirty! I have heard you can use sticky tape to clean the felt but i just use a clean damp cloth and give them a good rub with a little windex (seems to help it dry faster)

  • I too love the Dettol wipes – I use them on nearly everything!

  • I use detol wipes, doing really great with that

  • i use baby wipes with my iPad case they work wonders i think every household should have a least one packet of baby wipes to hand.

  • You can get special cleaners that are like baby wipes
