  • Set up a fondue station with melted chocolate and a variety of dippables like marshmallows, strawberries, pretzels, and cookies.

  • Sounds like a fun party, I’ll have to steal this idea!
I think keeping it simple is always key. I’m sure they had a wonderful time!

  • Mini Pizzas and then make something sweet. My kids loved to ice and decorate Milk Arrowroot biscuits I have done this before at a birthday party it was a big hit I think they ate more of the lollies then decorating the biscuit haha

  • Cupcakes where the children get to decorate them with sprinkles, coconut, lollies, mini marshmallows.

  • Keep it simple – biscuits, cup cakes, or some kind of slice.

  • Mini pizzas are usually a hit. Also sausage rolls, tacos, cupcakes etc.

  • I love all the ideas suggested so far. I was going to suggest mini pizzas on tortillas, and chocolate crackles for dessert.

  • Mini pizzas are a fab idea!! Kids can decorate cupcakes, we make honey joy bars same recipe as honey joys just press into a lined tin and top with melted chocolate after baking. We had a party recently and had mallow pops out marshmallows on a lollipop stick dip in chocolate then dip into your favourite topping like popping candy or hundreds and thousands, kids loved them

  • Pikelets are pretty easy. Have lots of different toppings to add to them. Cupcakes are good too. Especially icing a decorating bit. Then there’s honey joys and what about chocolate crackles? Toasted sandwiches even

  • Maybe pasties and sausage rolls, then some fairy bread, frog in a pond for dessert.

  • Pizza, cupcakes and sugar cookie decorating would definitely be the easiest options. With sugar cookies, you could even pre-make the dough and let them all roll and cut out their own shapes to decorate too.

  • There are some great ideas. Clearly i would be checking on whether they are any food related allergies requirements prior to the party happening. I am thinking Pizza for lunch then make and decorate cupcakes to take home after the party. My daughter really wants a pinata cake for her birthday cake. so we will make this before hand.

  • if needed you could use gluten free flour…

  • Cupcakes and mini pizzas, with the pizza dough make the dough from scratch and they should love it…

  • I ran a cooking party for 3 little girls once, what we did was to make crepes way ahead of time, then let the girls assemble the ingredients to wrap up with crepes by hand, it could be peanut butter, nutella, sugar & lemon, any fruit jams. They even painted on crepes before gobbling them down with giggles aplenty.

  • Mini quiches, sausage rolls and pita pizza are a popular option.

  • Like some others have responded, I’d find out about any particular food allergies of party-goers and then settle for a pizza or cupcake making party … or perhaps you could go for both! It was recently my daughter’s birthday and we made a cake from a kit that came with made up fondant icing. She helped me in making and decorating the cake, but her favourite thing was sculpting things out of the left over fondant icing. With fondant icing already pre-coloured it’s just like play dough and party goers could use it to decorate their own cupcakes.

  • In advance you should check with the parents of the children whether any of them have food allergies. If any of them have Coelic Disease, their ingredients have to be wheat, rye and barley free (they contain gluten); and unless they have done the oats challenge and are Ok with that you can’t use that either. Their food has to be prepared on a separate bench area, no utensils, knifes, spoons, spatulas, cooking pans etc. used near of having had contact with food containing gluten. The only other option is to thoroughly clean the area and cook the gluten food first. Cross contamination (gluten cominng into contact with gluten free food) is like food poisoning to a Coelic Disease sufferer. It can cause a sufferer to be ill for hours or days. It increases the permanent damage in the vili – a section of the intestines/bowel. I have witnessed the result of cross contamination. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. There aother autoimmune diseases that you also have to be very careful with food preparation too. Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Chrons Disease and there is a few others. Some are lactose intolerant and can’t eat any food at all containing dairy products. That includes milk, butter, cream, cheese, some brands of margarine – yes some contain dairy product in them. You can buy lactose free milk, cream, cheese, margarine and other spreads, yoghurt, icecream etc. Some also can’t eat bought biscuits or cak ewith dairy in them. A child can have to be taken to hospital if accidentally given food containing lactose accidentally, especially if other people innocently give just one dry biscuit containing lactose.

  • Perhaps pizza, they could secret they’re own cupcakes

  • sausage rolls, honey joys (with cornflakes) cheese sticks..alot with ready bought puff pastry
