I had an aunt who always bought me chocolates, they were from the $2 shop and really quite horrible. I hated that she wasted her money and one year I made her a batch of shortbread, she was so thrilled that now she makes very yummy biscuits for everyone at Christmas. This year I embroidered a number of tea towels and my aunt & I combined our gifts and tied them up with lovely ribbon that could be kept….they were a hit!

This year my daughters and I made shortbread for presents. Had I thought of it earlier I would have made up some bowls of mixed succulents – Next year I think

I do. This year I bought a cricut. I’ve been making teacher gifts. So much fun. I’ve done personalized diaries and baubles.

We bake too for gifts but I’ve also started not making but creating boxes for families. So instead of individual gifts we’ve done a Movie box with ice-magic, popping corn, a family DVD. I’ve also make an icecream box with Ice-cream cones, spinkles, topping, sundae cups etc

I love making homemade gifts when I have the time. Biscuits and baked goods are always a hit and handmade decorations for the tree are a lovely idea.

Purchase some cheap coffee cups, fill it with brownie in a mug dry ingredients, wrap & done. Reuse your glass jars, fill with chocolate balls, choc covered sultanas, almond etc, pop some eyes, a red nose and pretzel sticks for antlers.
But due to other family with gut issues, as it’s also part of my business, they get bath bombs, and bubble bars.
Hubby makes jerky and home brew cider. We’ve also given a whole lot of fresh produce from our overflowing garden in the past. No garden this year unfortunately.

Wow, aren’t there creative mums on here! I’ve never really thought about making gifts. I used to get the kids to make things for grandparents, aunties and uncles and that’s about it
